Crémant de Loire rosé A.O.C. Domaine des HAUTES GOHARDES

Vineyard :

The Domaine des Hautes Gohardes is located in the small village of Concourson sur Layon in the heart of the appellation. This wine is born from a clay-limestone soil with a 50 Hl / Ha yield to preserve the best aromas. The estate is producing 4 000 bottles per year of this superb rosé version or our “Champagne de Loire”: the Crémant.

100 % Cabernet-Franc

Vinification :

Vinified in traditional method process. Ageing 18 month on lath to obtain thin bubbles. With a 12 % of alcohol and 12 gr of residual sugar.

Tasting Note :

Colour: pink onion colour
Nose: mainly red fruits aromas
Palate: thin bubbles, fruity taste and a long finish

Serving Temperature :

Serve very fresh at 8°C

Food Association Advice :

Known as the “Champagne de Loire”, very enjoyable as aperitif to celebrate a particular event but also with desserts like chocolate cake or fruit pies.
