Vineyard :

In the Loire Valley, in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon, Domaine Pierre Chauvin produces a wide range of wines of Anjou. The vineyard of 15 hectares is located in the town of Rablay sur Layon, the wine is made since 2005 from organically grown grapes (2008 was the first certified-vintage). Sandy and gravelly on argillaceaous sub-soils. 20 years old vines. Hand picked harvest. Average yealds : 45hl/ha.
