Vineyard :

In the Heart of France, about 11 miles away from Bourges, on the calcareous clay hillsides, the vineyard is planted on a kimeridgean subsoil (limestone sediments) with two of the most prestigious grape varieties: Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The CHAVET estate is located in the very heart of the "Controlled Appellation"- the MENETOU SALON village. 25 years old vines. Average yields: 63hl/ha max.

Tasting Note :

Color: ruby-coloured
Nose: ripe-cherry and plum-scented bouquet
Palate: Supple and elegant, it is among the very few wines that you can equally enjoy whether you taste them young or after a few-year stay in your cellar

Serving Temperature :

Between 13°C and 15°C

As a young wine, it perfectly suits all your meal, whereas after 2 or 3 years in the bottle, it will astonish you on the most prestigious meals
