Vineyard :

Recognised as Coteaux d’Ancenis Gamay AOC, this wine is growing in Saint-Géréon in Loire-Atlantique from clay, schist and sometimes granite soils. It beneficiate from a great temperate climate with maritime influence. In average vines have around 40 years old and are worked in Sustainable Agriculture.

Black Gamay with white juice, 40 years old vines

Vinification :

Direct pressing 90% and 10% bled then stocked in glass coated tanks. Low-temperature fermentation.

Tasting Note :

Color : Deep Pink Robe
Nose : Intense scent of crushed red fruits
Palate : rather stout, well balanced with a touch of vivacity

Serving Temperature :

Not more than 10° to 12°C

Food Association Advice :

Appreciated with starters, deli meat or poultries

Preservation :

Between 2 and 5 years maximum
