Vineyard :

Family-owned vineyard for 6 generations, the Domaine de Sainte Anne is characterized by a very special geological situation. At Saint-Saturnin, in the Loire Valley, in the heart of Aubance, it stands at the border of the Paris basin in the east, and the Armorican Massif in the west, giving as uniqueness as richness to its soils. The soils of the 66 hectares of vineyard are predominantly composed of clay and limestone.

Grape Variety :

Chenin Blanc 100%, alcool volume 13% + a 100g of residual sugar

Vinification :

Harvested by hand and carried out by successive sorting methods . Fermentation at low temperature in order to preserve the aromas during a few month until the sugar/alcohol balance is obtained. Tangential filtration to stop naturally the fermentation.

Tasting Note :

Color: Clear yeallow gold color
Nose: Quince, Flower of locust trees
Palate: Liveliness, a fresh delicacy, flavours of candide apricot and passion fruit

Serving Temperature :

At 8°C

With foie gras, blue cheese or slightly spiced food

Preservation :

Ideally after 10 years
