Since more than 2 centuries (1782) our family works with passion at Bommes to produce its Sauternes. Since 30 years, Alain leads the estate with care and know-how.vignobles_img_14008487664628

Sauternes, Vignobles Charrier HD copieFrom the parcel with the same name, the estate is named “Domaine Carbonnieu”. Divided in 50 parcels surrounded by the Grand Gru Classés of Sauternes, the estate is spread on 20 hectares.

On a terroir mainly composed of grave, clay and sand, the family grows Semillon (90 %), Sauvignon (7 %) and Muscadelle (3%).

Sauternes wines are offering beautiful aromas like: litchi, citrus, pear, apricot, peach, melon, vanilla, cinnamon and many others.

Every year our wines are selected by wine professionals for oenological events throughout France and Europe. It brings us pride and satisfaction to our work to try to offer you a wine always better.

Domaine CARBONNIEU LabelThe property is located along the Ciron river and proposes to local wine-lovers to enjoy a canoe session to finish at the vineyard with a glass of wine. With bicycle or horses many visitor are received for a wine tasting at Domaine Carbonnieu.
