Domaine SAINTE-ANNE, A local producer from Brissac-Quincé (Anjou)

Family-owned vineyard for 6 generations, the Domaine de Sainte Anne is characterized by a very special geological situation. At Saint-Saturnin, in the Loire Valley, in the heart of Aubance, it stands at the border of the Paris basin in the east, and the Armorican Massif in the west, giving as uniqueness as richness to its soils. The soils of the 56 hectares of vineyard are predominantly composed of clay and limestone. The main grape varieties that grow in are:

. Cabernet Franc;      . Cabernet Sauvignon;
. Chardonnay;            . Sauvignon Blanc;
. Gamay;                     . Chenin Blanc.

The cellar is equipped with an electronic control system for temperature control, and since recent years, two rotating tanks named Vinimatic for a better vinification of the Anjou Villages Brissac red wines. They also recently invested in a manual sorting table followed by a vibrating table to select the best grapes before vinification.

Domaine SAINTE-ANNE’s efforts to make his best in the creation of delicious wines is regularly awarded by various prizes. Open competition in Paris – Macon – Angers – selected by the Hachette Guide, Cuisines et Vins de France etc …
